expected Guidance appointment to confirm your time.
Cancellation policy
Sometimes a session might to be cancelled or rearranged for a variety of reasons.
Change Guidance sets out its cancellation and refund policies below for your perusal. These policies apply to all service offerings.
Late arrival/missed sessions
Appointments are booked for specific and agreed times only. If you choose to attend outside of the agreed times it will not be possible to consult with you. If you arrive to an appointment early you have to wait for your agreed appointment time and equally if you arrive late the session cannot be extended to compensate. We will assume an appointment has been cancelled without notice where clients are over 15 minutes late and no contact with the service has been made.
Cancellations
We operate a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel an appointment over 24-hours in advance you will not be charged for the missed session. After that timeframe a fee will still apply to the appointment as we have committed the time.
Exceptional circumstances
It is recognised that in life emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen. Discuss any possibility of missing an appointment (if known by you in advance) when booking your appointment. This allows the service to be more accommodating, where possible. Equally in the case of a genuine emergency, where you are unable to attend or give advance prior notice of your need to cancel, a waiver or reduced cancellation fee may be applied on a case-by-case basis.
Where appointments are repeatedly made and cancelled we reserve the right to ask for a non-refundable pre-payment which is not refunded even when a cancellation happens within the required 24-hour window. We also reserve the right to refuse to offer a service in the future on this basis.
If the service cancels an appointment
In exceptional circumstances where an appointment has to be cancelled by the service you will be given as much notice as is possible and feasible. Clients will not be charged for appointments cancelled by the service and we will endeavour to re-book at a mutually convenient time thereafter.
Webinars, workshops and events
All bookings – including webinars, workshops and events – are fully transferable but non-refundable. If you do not attend a paid booking (webinar, workshop or event) you will be sent all resources delivered LIVE on the day.
If the service cancels or rearranges a booking (webinar, workshop or event) the service will give a) a full refund OR b) the opportunity to re-book for an alternative date OR c) a credit note against a future booking.
